Welcome to LoganAskWhy.com 2.0
LoganAskWhy.com is maintained by jonathan logan a science teacher at Paris Gibson Ed Center located in Great Falls, Montana. Students/Parents/Staff/Community can use this site to check student grades and unit progress, learn the procedures/methods for earning science units and to view my weekly seminar schedules and Archived Lesson Plans. The Courses Overview page describes the course material and the chapters covered. The Textbook (mp3 format) is available to download and listen to. This site also includes notes/reviews/handouts, class images, and class videos. Please visit and comment on my Blog/loganaskwhy, follow my Twitter/loganaskwhy and view the videos on my loganaskwhy YouTube Channel. Please e-mail me if you would like to sign up and receive cell phone text messages (LoganAlerts) to stay up to date with all the happenings in loganscience.
Getting information is made easier with the Web Links on the right. Use the News/Weather/Sports link to check the headlines, the scores and the local weather. Search Google or Yahoo and stay connected with your people using the facebook, Twitter, MySpace and Hotmail links. GFHS discus throwers can find results, video and track links.
Those interested in science, especially astronomy, can check for local star party information, keep updated on planets/moon/stars/satellites, check Space Station over Great Falls times and dates, watch for live northern lights and monitor space weather from the sun.
"Carl Sagan has been a huge influence in my life. Getting students to always wonder why is a large part of my classroom philosophy. It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness! Much of today's public beliefs are based in psuedoscience...so question everything!"
