How much power output does it take for you to get up the stairs?

Do You Have The Horsepower?

#1.  "find your weight in pounds and convert to kilograms" (1 pound = .45kg)

#2.  "calculate the force"    Force(N) = Mass(kg) X Acceleration(9.8m/s2)

#3. "measure the height of each stair (in cm) and multiply by the total number of stairs" (convert the cm into m)

#4. "calculate the work"  Work(J) = Force(N) X Time(S)
#5. "measure the time (in seconds) it takes to climb the stairs"
#6.  "calculate the power" Power(J/S) = Work(J) / Time(S)
