I am taking a personal day today and will be out of the classroom today; I will be back tomorrow.

Tuesday

--The Elizabethan speech is due today. It is worth 250 points.

Speech: 100 points

We will spend ½ the class listening to speeches and the other ½ reading Romeo and Juliet.

Wednesday

Thursday

--We are celebrating Shakespeare’s birthday (Actually, I think he was baptized today, nonetheless…)

I encourage the students to bring treats for their class in honor of The Bard’s B-day!

-- Hopefully, we will wrap up the Elizabethan Speeches.

Friday

-- Outside read

-- Definitely finish Elizabethan speeches.

-- Hopefully we will complete Act I of Romeo and Juliet.

--HW—If we have completed Act I, the homework will be pgs 21-24 and 28&29 in the R&J packet.

LIKE I STATED EARLIER, READING ROMEO AND JULIET IS KIND OF TRICKY, WE WILL MOVE AT THE PACE OF THE CLASS’ READING . THEREFORE, IT IS HARD TO PREDICT WHERE WE WILL BE ON A DAILY BASIS. THANKS FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING!
