-- Book reports are due today. You must have your book here in order to give a book way.

-- While I am giving book reports, students will be working on their short stories based on The Odyssey

And from O Brother, Where Art Thou. The story must be at least 2 typed pages, Times New Roman font, 12 point font and double spaced. There has to be 5 elements from The Odyssey and 2 elements from the time period when the story takes place. 

-- The story is due Thursday, the 29th—this Thursday.

Tuesday

-- Continuing book reports and working on their short story.

Wednesday

-- Complete book reports.

-- Final day of in class work on short stories. The stories are due tomorrow.

-- Introduction to poetry.

Thursday       

-- Outside read

-- Reading “Woman Work” and “in Just” from the Imagery section.

They are found on pages 408 and 413, respectively in the text.

--HW—Pages 1-4 in the poetry packet.
